Terms of Service
Tome is a Discord bot and companion website for collecting, trading, and showing off character cards. By inviting Tome to a server, using its commands, or signing in on this website, you agree to these terms.
The service
Tome is provided as-is, free to use, with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or that any particular feature will continue to exist in its current form. Features, commands, pricing, and in-app currency values can change at any time.
Your account and conduct
- You're responsible for actions taken through your Discord account while using Tome.
- The full community rules, and how punishments scale, are on the Rules page. They're part of these terms.
- Don't use automation, self-bots, or scripts to interact with Tome faster or more often than a real person could.
- Don't exploit bugs to gain currency, cards, or other in-app advantages - report them instead.
- Don't use Tome to harass, scam, or defraud other users, including in trades or on the marketplace.
Violating these terms can result in losing access to Tome - in a single server, or bot-wide - at the operators' discretion, including reversing currency or cards obtained through a violation.
Virtual items have no real-world value
Gold, tickets, ink, gems, cards, frames, and every other in-app item exist only within Tome. None of it can be exchanged for real money, and Tome does not process real-money payments for anything. Access to your collection isn't guaranteed to continue forever - see "Changes and availability" below.
Purchases and refunds
Real-money purchases (for example Tome+ or a currency/perk pack) are only ever sold in two places: this website, and a ticket opened with the Tome team in the official Tome Discord server. Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout - Tome never sees or stores your card or bank details.
- Nobody is authorized to sell Tome items, perks or currency anywhere else - not in DMs, not in other servers, and not by anyone who isn't on the Tome team. Anything offered that way is a scam, and anything bought that way can be removed.
- Refund requests go through a ticket with the Tome team. Purchases of virtual items are generally final once they've been delivered, but real mistakes (a duplicate charge, a purchase that never arrived) will be put right.
- Any in-app currency or item granted from a real-money purchase is forfeited if that purchase is refunded or charged back, and chargeback abuse can lead to losing access to Tome entirely.
- Purchases are for access to virtual items within Tome only - they can't be exchanged for cash, transferred outside Tome, or redeemed anywhere else.
- If a real-money purchase fails to deliver correctly (you paid but didn't receive what you bought), contact us using the details below and it'll be made right - a real delivery failure isn't the same as changing your mind after a successful purchase.
Content you interact with
Tome's card catalog is built from fan art and official promotional/key visual art for existing anime, games, and other media, used for a non-commercial fan project. If you believe something shouldn't be included, contact us using the details below and it will be reviewed.
Changes and availability
Tome may be updated, have features added or removed, or be taken offline entirely, at any time and without notice. These terms may also be updated - continuing to use Tome after a change means you accept the new terms.

Tome is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The operators aren't liable for any loss - including loss of in-app currency, cards, or collection progress - arising from using Tome.
